The Trillium Drug Program

The Trillium Drug Program is a Provincial Government program, which provides help to individuals, couples or families who spend a large part of their income on prescription medicines. Costs of prescription drugs are among the fastest-rising health care costs everywhere.

You are eligible for the Trillium Drug Program, if:

• You have a valid OHIP card;
• You not eligible for drug coverage under the Ontario Drug Benefit (ODB);
• You are not receiving Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support and
• You have no private insurance, or your private insurance does not cover all your medication costs.

An application for the Trillium Drug Program can be obtained from your local pharmacy.
