New Ontario energy and property tax credit in 2011
To assist Ontario seniors, those on fixed incomes, and low- to moderate-income Ontario families with rising energy costs, Ontario will rebate you ten percent of your electricity bill for the next five years, and also introduce a new Ontario Senior Homeowners’ Property Tax Grant with up to $500 starting in 2010, doubling the amount available in 2009.
Have you received the "Chicken Little" e-mail about the HST
It's the one that seems to blame the Premier of Ontario for just about everything. It's time for a reality check. Here is the answer to it.
Definitive word on the HST. Take that, talk radio!
Should a noisy group of angry people take away the substantial benefits of more jobs, lower taxes and greater investment from 13 million of us in Ontario? They are trying, but failing. Here is what to copy and paste into your messages to those chain e-mails some people have been sent.

Let's get Ontario prescription drug prices lower!
Ontario patients, seniors and consumers pay far too much money for drugs. In many cases, we pay several times what U.S. consumers pay. How would you like the price of many of the drugs people need to drop by half? We can do it. Print and sign this petition. More info available on this web site.

Travelling outside Canada or expecting visitors from outside Ontario this year?
OHIP doesn't cover your guests from outside Ontario while they are here, and likely won't all cover your costs if you get sick while abroad, even in the USA. You need third-party health insurance for your guests and for yourself if you travel outside Ontario.
