Community volunteer opportunities

Host Program volunteers with Inter-Cultural Neighbourhood Social Services (ICNSS)
ICNSS is a Mississauga-based provider of a range of social services aimed at newcomers to Canada, and is located near the corner of Dundas Street West and Confederation Parkway. Check the ICNSS web site. The Host Program needs volunteers able to work with new Canadians, and enable them to practice their English skills, meet Canadians, and gain confidence in their new country. There are no formal qualifications other than a desire to work with others, good inter-personal skills, and an interest in settlement issues.

Have a volunteer role to fill?

If your organization is a social services provider, non-profit, community-based or charitable organization, and you need access to volunteer talent, contact Bob's Constituency Office with the details of the volunteer role(s) for which you need help, and we'll post that opportunity here to see if we can help you match your needs with the skills of people who live in western Mississauga.
